CHOP SHOP · EVENTS · BRAND IDENTITY
El Taller means “The Garage” — so we built it a chop shop. A real one strips cars and rebuilds them into something faster; ours did it to music. DJs from different scenes broke genres apart and reassembled them live, night after night, until the café had a second identity.
01 / THE CONCEPT
The goal was never another party — it was an experience with its own identity. I developed the concept, the visual direction, and the event system, then brought in DJs, artists, and creatives who each added a different sound and perspective.
The garage became a place for experimentation.

02 / BUILDING THE WORLD
Each night was a world built from scratch, never a format repeated: a lineup curated for that night alone, original artwork and storytelling for every event, promotion led by the creators themselves, and immersive visuals built into the space.

03 / CURATING THE RIGHT MIX
The magic came from the mix. Instead of booking on popularity, each lineup was curated for chemistry — DJs from different scenes, sounds, and communities on one bill. Audiences came to discover something new, not to hear what they already knew.
04 / IMPACT
Chop Shop turned a local idea into a sold-out series, each event building on the last through curation, creative direction, and genuine community.
Like the garage that inspired it, Chop Shop was about taking something familiar and rebuilding it into something new — not just the music, but the community that formed around it.
